Get Your DevOps Leader or DevSecOps Engineer Certified at DevOps World | Jenkins World 2019
Editor’s note: This blog post was written by guest contributor, Jayne Groll , co-founder and CEO of DevOps Institute.
I am excited to return to San Francisco for DevOps World | Jenkins World 2019 conference. This will be my fourth year attending this key conference and each year it keeps getting better and more diversified in its content and its audience.
DevOps Institute is again delighted to partner with DevOps World | Jenkins World as the Continuous Learning Track sponsor. This year, we will host two certification courses: DevOps Leader and DevSecOps Engineering. The courses will take place on Monday and Tuesday of DevOps World week.
The DevSecOps Engineering certification course will be offered for the first time at DevOps World as it is one of the hottest topics in DevOps today. Sean Davis will lead the class and is not only an amazing instructor, but he is also an IT practitioner by day. Since security is now everyone’s responsibility, the DevSecOps Engineering course strikes a balance between cultural improvements, security practices and automation as the key to securing software in a fast-paced environment. Everyone in IT should groom basic DevSecOps skills .
The DevOps Leader certification course will be back for its third year -- and fourth DevOps World. This class is always a sellout. Helen Beal of Ranger 4 will be the facilitator and the class will focus on the key cultural and transformational leadership skills needed to guide any team or organization into a DevOps approach.
I hope you will make the most of your DevOps World experience by enrolling in one of DevOps Institute’s accredited classes. Taking a class, being eligible for a certification AND attending a content-rich conference is a great way to get a tangible return on your DevOps World investment.
DevOps Institute will also host a panel on upskilling DevOps with perspectives from Damon Edwards, Helen Beal, Sean Davis and Jayne Groll. Drawing on insight from DevOps Institute’ 2019 Upskilling: Enterprise DevOps Skills Report, the panel will take a look at the skills gap facing all organizations today.
See you there!
