Calling on all members of the CloudBees and Jenkins communities - and any other interested developers and DevOps teams! Here at CloudBees, we live and breathe continuous delivery (CD) with Jenkins. We all know continuous delivery accelerates the application development process - and simply makes life easier. We think that is something to celebrate! So on May 21st, please join CloudBees in the first ever “Continuous Delivery Day” – to celebrate all things CD.

To kickoff Continuous Delivery Day, over the next few weeks the CloudBees team will be using #CDday as a Twitter hashtag to share factoids, contests, fun images and more on our social networks. All in celebration of continuous delivery. Sacha Labourey, CEO, and Steve Harris, senior VP of products, will even be leading a Tweet Chat on May 21 at 12:00pm EDT in honor of the day and will chat with members of the community about all things continuous delivery.

Those who engage the most in the Tweet Chat and via our other social media activities will win special CloudBees prizes to help celebrate #CDday in style. Feel free to shoot some questions for Sacha and Steve ahead of the chat, by Tweeting your questions to @CloudBees. We will collect the questions and respond to them during the Tweet Chat.

On another note…can we just declare a holiday, you ask? Absolutely – it has to start somewhere! CD is certainly something to celebrate, and we want to share this day with people who feel the same. Continuous Delivery Day on May 21st will devote an entire day to highlight one of our favorite things - CD - as well as the power of Jenkins that is behind our technology.

The countdown is on! Please join us and celebrate #CDday in 16 days…and counting!
