For the month of March - it came in like a LION who likes blogs and feedback- i don’t even know what that looks like but i’m sure he is wearing a 90’s rock band t-shirt of some sort.

Sneak Peak at Pipeline Maps!

CloudBees hosted a webinar on March 7th that covered some new features (what’s new with HA, CasC, and Pipeline Explorer). Interesting stuff but really caught my eye was the Pipeline Explorer sneak peak into pipeline visualization(Maps) with the explorer! To see how this easily rendered a beefy pipeline in the demo was impressive - especially for a live demo with Murphy’s Law always waiting for an opportunity to strike. Check it out!

Infra costs for High Availability Mode - Sample calc with AWS

High Availability (HA) is essential for critical systems that need to operate continuously and ensure smooth service round the clock.

For those aiming for zero downtime, HA, especially in its Active-Active configuration, offers a viable solution. However, it's important to understand any costs associated with the insurance of high availability. This may not be something needed across ALL controllers, but 1 or 2 critical controllers - it is essential.  Let's explore a cost analysis to better understand what to expect when building in HA to your infrastructure.
