CloudBees Announces Availability of Its Enterprise Continuous Delivery Platform Integrated with Microsoft Azure

The integration of the CloudBees Jenkins Platform with Microsoft Azure enables DevOps teams to accelerate the build, test and deployment of applications

CloudBeesSAN JOSE, CA. − June 7, 2016 − CloudBees, Inc. , the enterprise Jenkins company and continuous delivery (CD) leader, today announced the immediate availability of the CloudBees Jenkins Platform in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace. The new offering enables DevOps teams to host continuous delivery (CD) processes in their existing Microsoft Azure environment. Availability of a pre-configured CloudBees Jenkins Platform for Azure enables enterprises to deploy CD environments in minutes.

Jenkins is the de facto continuous integration (CI) and CD automation server. The CloudBees Jenkins Platform delivers Jenkins-based CD with enterprise-class levels of scalability, availability and manageability on Azure. Organizations that use Azure can accelerate the delivery of their software including mobile, web, embedded and Internet of Things (IoT) applications.

Through the use of virtual machines as Jenkins agents, Azure users get a Jenkins environment that is easy to operate, safe and secure. With the CloudBees Jenkins Platform, they also benefit from advanced analytics and an up-to-the-minute visual status of software delivery pipelines. Additionally, CloudBees has simplified consumption of the CloudBees Jenkins Platform via direct purchase from the Azure Marketplace. With packaged configurations available for purchase, the solution delivers a right-sized solution based on the customer’s need, while utilizing the elasticity of Jenkins agents within Azure.

“This collaboration between Microsoft and CloudBees enables enterprise teams to easily automate the end-to-end software delivery process on Microsoft Azure. Teams are able to focus on innovation, not on procuring and provisioning resources and configuring the IT infrastructure,” said Durga Sammeta, director of global alliances, CloudBees. “This relationship helps Microsoft Azure users get the most out of Jenkins through the scalability, security and manageability the CloudBees Jenkins Platform brings, demonstrating that it is the go-to foundation for continuous delivery.”

“Microsoft Azure can quickly scale up or down to meet resource demand so customers pay only for what they use,” said Nicole Herskowitz, senior director of product marketing, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Corp. “Azure is a fully-automated self-service cloud platform that allows users to provision resources within minutes. The automation delivered with continuous delivery powered by the CloudBees Jenkins Platform offers Microsoft Azure customers a valuable way to accelerate the application delivery process.”

Availability
The CloudBees Jenkins Platform is available immediately in the Azure Marketplace. Pricing via the Marketplace starts with a single user option at $.25 USD per hour or $1,850 per year, plus Azure consumption. Other configurations are available for teams of all sizes, as well as the option to use an existing CloudBeesJenkins Platform license purchased directly from CloudBees.
