We know Java because we come from the companies that invented and popularized it, and we live in the community that drives it. The JVM is the secret sauce behind a whole new generation of languages and frameworks that are powering innovation in old and new businesses alike. Use a ClickStart to get up and going quickly - from source to build and into production.
In other words, not just Java!
Standardize and extend
CloudBees supports multiple runtimes, frameworks and partner services efficiently and dynamically thanks to a generic application container. We expose that container in open source, along with all the specific runtime stacks that use it. We call these stacks ClickStacks. This means you can customize our curated runtimes and create your own, forking and building on the work both we and our user community do.
Everything you do on CloudBees is available through our API and exposed in the "bees" SDK. It grows as we add new capabilities, and it's extensible to support deep partner and custom integration. So, whether you're scripting the way you use CloudBees or you're customizing the way your Jenkins jobs deploy or you just prefer emacs to an IDE, you'll feel right at home.
Add more instances or remove them, based on a variety of metrics that CloudBees exposes directly to you. If your app's memory and processor requirements change, you can grow and shrink it in 128MB memory increments we call app-cells. Need even more operational control? Check out the capabilities of our world-class application performance monitoring partners, and couple their deep insight into scripted operations via our SDK.
We are an equal opportunity database company
On CloudBees, databases are hosted services you use, just like everything else. So whether you use a relational database like MySQL or PostgreSQL or a noSQL database like Mongo or Couch fit your problem space better, they're all just a click away. If you like Amazon's offerings, such as RDS or DynamoDB, they also work easily with CloudBees-based builds, tests and production applications.
Shared multi-tenanted or dedicated deployments
Our multi-tenant technology is second to none, providing secure isolation and consistently high performance. But sometimes you just want dedicated resources. Or you want dedicated resources for production, but are happy with multi-tenanted resources for test and staging. Either way, you'll have access to the full set of CloudBees services.
Regional deployments can be important to customers both for policy reasons and for lower latency. With some load balancer magic, you can also use the regions for failover in the event of a disaster. We're always evaluating support for other regions, so let us know what you need. Currently, our services are available in both the US and EU regions.
