CloudBees Jenkins Platform Recognized as ‘Best DevOps Tool’ in TechTarget’s Impact Awards

Annual Modern Infrastructure Impact Awards honor CloudBees for making open source Jenkins ‘enterprise-worthy’

SAN JOSE, Calif. – January 26, 2016 – CloudBees, Inc. , the enterprise Jenkins company and continuous delivery (CD) leader, today announced that it has received a Modern Infrastructure Impact Award for Best DevOps Tool. The awards were announced on January 20th by TechTarget’s Modern Infrastructure staff.

The Modern Infrastructure Impact Awards, given out annually, recognize the top cloud and data center products and technologies making a difference for IT shops. The awards honored top solutions in the following categories: DevOps/Systems Management, Software Defined, Converged/Hyper Converged, Public Cloud Migration, Private/Hybrid Cloud and AWS Consultant/Partner categories.

In its description of CloudBees as the leading DevOps tool, Modern Infrastructure highlighted the strength of the CloudBees Jenkins platform, listed platform features and quoted readers’ impressions of CloudBees’ DevOps capabilities.

“Open-source Jenkins is practically synonymous with DevOps-style continuous integration and test-driven development,” the magazine wrote. “The CloudBees Jenkins Platform takes that foundational toolset and makes it enterprise-worthy.”

The CloudBees Jenkins Platform includes role-based access control, high availability, distributed team management and analytics, plus integration with any number of platforms and tools: public and private clouds such as Amazon, Openstack, Microsoft Azure or development tools such as BlazeMeter for load testing and New Relic for performance monitoring. Combined with container technologies such as Docker, the CloudBees Jenkins Platform, with its support for continuous delivery practices and DevOps cultures, replaces legacy approaches to delivering applications.

“In today’s competitive business environment, DevOps cultures are becoming widely recognized as a defining characteristic of successful companies,” said Sacha Labourey, CEO and co-founder of CloudBees. “Having such a respected publication recognize the role of the CloudBees Jenkins platform in enabling continuous delivery practices and DevOps adoption, its breadth of features and impact on customer’ operations is extremely gratifying for our team.”
