CloudBees, IBM, Devops.com Join Forces for Remaining 2015 CD Summit Series

Popular Seminar Series Kicks Off in Austin on October 8th

SAN JOSE, CA – SEPTEMBER 30, 2015 – CloudBees , the Enterprise Jenkins Company and continuous delivery leader, in collaboration with IBM and DevOps.com, will bring the popular Continuous Delivery (CD) Summits to three major U.S. cities by the end of 2015. The first one will kick off in Austin, Texas on Thursday October 8, 2015 at the Austin Convention Center, in parallel with InnoTech. Jez Humble, highly respected continuous delivery and DevOps expert, will headline the keynote at the Austin event. Andy Pemberton, senior director, solution architects at CloudBees, will give a keynote during the conference about automating software delivery pipelines – an important step in the transition to CD.

CD Summit focuses on CD and continuous integration (CI) as the best practices for enterprise software delivery. During this one-day event, attendees will have the chance to connect and engage directly with luminaries in the DevOps community. Speakers include experienced DevOps practitioners who have made the transformation to continuous delivery practices.

“CD Summits have been hailed as great educational events for IT managers and professionals who are leading continuous delivery and DevOps initiatives. We are pleased to work with IBM and DevOps.com to take the remaining three events for this year to the next level,” said Andre Pino, vice president of marketing, CloudBees. “The CD Summits will offer up some of the leading CD thinkers and practitioners in the world and will be great opportunities to learn.”

CloudBees is leading the way when it comes to helping organizations implement CD and DevOps. Since its inception in 2010, CloudBees has provided solutions based on open source Jenkins. Jenkins is the most widely-used platform for CD and a critical foundation for enterprise DevOps transformations. CloudBees is enabling the DevOps community to get the most out of CD and deliver better software faster, at any stage of the implementation process.

CD Summit will be held in conjunction with InnoTech Austin, which boasts more than 1,600 attendees and 70 exhibitors. There will also be a DevOps Demo Theater on the expo show floor. A CD Summit ticket is $99 and includes complimentary admission to InnoTech Austin.

In addition to the Austin event, there will be events in Los Angeles on December 3, 2015. The final CD Summit will be held in Boston later in December.
