CloudBees CodeShip Now Available in GitHub, Atlassian, AWS and Heroku Marketplaces

Turnkey CI/CD tool now readily accessed by a broader audience

CloudBees logoSAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA – June 18, 2019 – CloudBees , the enterprise DevOps leader powering the continuous economy, today announced the availability of CloudBees CodeShip across four popular developer marketplaces, making it easier than ever for developers to launch continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices in a self-service model. CloudBees CodeShip is now available in the GitHub, Atlassian, AWS and Heroku marketplaces. For the first time, users can sign up for CloudBees CodeShip directly in each marketplace, giving them the ability to set up CI/CD workflows in a matter of minutes.

CloudBees CodeShip is a set of tools that developers and small teams use to ship code easily, quickly and flexibly. Delivered as a Software as a Service (SaaS) application, the software is optimized for quick set-up, coming pre-configured with a guided path for developers to build, test and deploy software. CloudBees CodeShip tools work with more advanced CloudBees and other third-party offerings, allowing users new to CI/CD to establish on-ramps to more robust processes as they scale their software delivery operations.

“Our goal is to extend CI/CD to the broadest possible audience, to help users and teams at all levels to take advantage of the value it drives,” said Jason Mero, vice president of business development and technical alliances, CloudBees. “Making CloudBees CodeShip available in GitHub, Atlassian, AWS and Heroku marketplaces brings CI/CD right to the developers themselves. Rather than having to set up and manage their own infrastructure, they can get started with CI/CD in minutes on any of these platforms and immediately add new capabilities to their development workflows.”

“It’s important to GitHub that we provide developers with their tools of choice on our open platform,” said Kyle Daigle, director of product, GitHub. “With Cloudbees joining GitHub’s Marketplace, customers will be able to integrate Cloudbees Codeship into their GitHub workflows seamlessly.”
