CloudBees Appoints André Pino as Vice President of Marketing

Technology Veteran Brings Proven, Dynamic Experience to CloudBees

BOSTON-- August 16, 2011 -- CloudBees , the Java PaaS innovation leader, today announced the appointment of André Pino as Vice President of Marketing. Pino will leverage his extensive experience to drive CloudBees' marketing initiatives and extend the reach of the company's platform-as-a-service (PaaS). Pino's background includes more than 20 years of executive-level marketing, business development and product development experience with companies such as Hewlett Packard, Segue Software, iPhrase Technologies, Bluestone Software and Unisys Corp.

Pino immediately joins CloudBees from leading analyst firm Forrester Research Inc., where he was a principal analyst serving technology marketing professionals. In this role, he focused on lead-to-revenue management including strategies and tactics for accelerating revenue, improving marketing execution and sales alignment to drive top level growth through traditional, digital and social marketing strategies.

Prior to Forrester, Pino was Chief Marketing Officer at Acsis where he was responsible for managing Acsis' sales and marketing operations. Pino has also served as CMO at Segue Software, Senior Vice President of Marketing at iPhrase Technologies, and as Marketing General Manager of the HP Middleware Division at Hewlett-Packard Company. While with HP, he was responsible for middleware marketing strategy, operations, and channel partner programs.

"We're thrilled to welcome André to the CloudBees team--he brings a track record of success in establishing technology companies as leaders in their target markets," said Sacha Labourey, CEO and founder, CloudBees. "André's experience in middleware application development and SaaS products will be critical to CloudBees as we continue to expand our market presence in the PaaS market."

CloudBees provides the only develop-to-deploy cloud platform for Java and serves thousands of customers. It provides everything developers need to quickly and easily develop and deploy applications in the cloud -- without having to purchase, configure and maintain hardware, and without having to program applications for a specific underlying infrastructure service (IaaS).

"I'm extremely excited to join the CloudBees' team," said Pino. "CloudBees is leading the industry with innovation that will completely change the pace with which applications are developed and deployed. I look forward to working with my colleagues to drive the company's growth."
