We're keeping busy! This week we’ve been exhibiting at Interop 2011 in Las Vegas and the main takeaway was expected - Cloud Computing, Cloud Automation and Cloud Monitoring are the main buzzwords for IT professionals of today. The Green IT buzz with its cost saving message from a couple of years back is no longer to be found – seems like that concept is implicit in many of the current offerings these days and the world of product marketing has now moved on towards focusing more on additive business values; like productivity, agility, speed and visibility.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a large or small, new or old company – if you’re exhibiting at an IT show in 2011 and want to resonate, you must have a cloud message and a value proposition in the cloud. I found that interesting, but also very comforting knowing that CloudBees has such a strong track record in enabling cloud computing and Development Clouds for so many R&D organizations around the world.
Many of the resource and cloud management companies like Vmware , Amazon , Eucalyptus , and others have all done a great job of making cloud-based self-service compute environments readily available for end users but have ignored the applications that run on them. If you’re currently in the midst of that confusion and are looking to enable an efficient cloud computing environment for your R&D team, no matter what underlying infrastructure or cloud providers that you are working with - don’t hesitate contacting us and we will tell you how so many mid- to large-sized companies around the world have achieved the promise of cloud computing through usage of CloudBees technology .
