Who Observes the Watchers? An Observability Journey

Observability unifies and contextualizes logs, metrics, uptime data, application traces for a holistic view of the state of the world. This is not something new, but in fact, the tech industry is using it to understand their applications in real-time. Can we apply observability in the CI/CD at scale? In this talk, we’d go through our journey applying Observability in the CI/CD, how we have facilitated our CI system owners to operate Jenkins controllers at Scale, how our users get more familiar with the distributed traces in their daily work when interacting with the CI/CD.
