Knowing what you are protecting is the most basic concept in security. That is harder when, as in highly agile application delivery, the thing you are protecting changes frequently – by design. At speed and scale, processes that rely on manual effort, human record keeping, and mental models cannot keep up. Instead, there must be a system that enables frequent change while constantly, automatically maintaining situational awareness of the app, pipeline, and infrastructure. This session discusses and provides examples of setting up strong foundations so that changes can flow quickly AND safely.
