In a microservice architecture it can be difficult to track the versions of services running across all of your clusters. Observability tools and registries only report on a single cluster. To reduce complexity and microservice sprawl, you need a view of all your 'application' configurations running across all clusters. And this data collection will need to be a new step in your Jenkins workflow. In this session we will explore how microservice versioning and configuration management is shifting the Jenkins Pipeline and how Ortelius, a new CDF Incubating Project, is answering the call.
