Open Source is under attack! In this talk, attendees will learn what software supply chain attacks are and how they can start to protect their organization.
Supply chain attacks are nothing new to containers and cloud native computing. In fact, they predate software! But these attacks are on the rise, and several aspects of containerized software make them easier to carry out and more lucrative. In fact, supply chain attacks increased by 78 percent in 2019, according to Symantec.
Not all hope is lost, however! This talk will touch on why containers are an easy target and teach attendees how to protect against the most common attacks today. It will also discuss what work is being done in Tekton chains to protect the industry.
