Set up Continuous Deployment to Nodejitsu for your node.js applications with Codeship

We are proud to announce a new member in our Codeship deployments family: Nodejitsu!

Recently we experienced increasing interest in node.js deployments on our service. Especially after our Testing Tuesday series about node.js a lot of people started creating Continuous Integration and Deployment projects on the Codeship.

Nodejitsu is a cloud hosting platform for your Node.js applications. Getting started is easy:Just create an account, follow the few setup steps and you’re all set within 5 minutes.

Deploying to Nodejitsu with the Codeship

You can deploy your GitHub and BitBucket projects with the Codeship. All you need to deploy to Nodejitsu is your user name and an API token. Within 2 minutes you can configure Codeship to deploy your app to Nodejitsu.

All you have to do is

  • Fill in your username

  • Create an API token: Run jitsu tokens create codeship on your terminal

  • Fill in the API token

As soon as you’ve configured your deployment, the Codeship will deploy your application to Nodejitsu with every build. The jitsu package gets installed during deployment and is used to push your app to Nodejitsu.

That's it: You created a Nodejitsu account and set up Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment for your node.js apps. All in less than 10 minutes!
