In ElectricCommander 4.1 we have done a lot of work on making it easier to get started in ElectricCommander for new users. Product functionality has been covered in a previous blog post, I’m going to cover other things we have done to help you deliver value faster using ElectricCommander.
When first logging into ElectricCommander 4.1 a new welcome screen is displayed:
From the welcome screen you have access to new “Getting Started” videos and tutorial material. There are currently 15 tutorials covering simple tasks to complex scenarios all with detailed documentation and working examples. The tutorials were selected based on feedback from customers so please keep the suggestions coming.
We also have our own channel on YouTube. Check out http://www.youtube.com/user/electriccloudvideos . We’ll be posting more videos to this channel frequently. For now I can highly recommend the CloudBees 101: Creating a Simple Workflow in ElectricCommander video, which is also a bit of shameless self promotion as I put that video together.
