Jetty Available on RUN@cloud!

We are delighted at CloudBees to announce the release of our Jetty 9 ClickStack.

We knew this container was important to many of you and we want to thank the Lift - Scala developers who helped us to tune the stack.

To give you more details about the ClickStack, it’s a standard Jetty 9.0.5 with:

  • .war file deployment
  • JNDI-based database binding using the Tomcat JDBC Pool
  • CloudBees monitoring and auto-scaling (HTTP session metric is not available as it is not exposed by Jetty)
  • CloudBees management with the CloudBees JMX Invoker
  • Handling of X-Forwarded-For and X-Forwarded-Proto http headers

We also polished our ClickStart demo of an Embedded Jetty ClickStart to include the handling of the X-Forwarded-For and X-Forwarded-Proto http headers.
