Is DevOps World going virtual?

  • Yes. After a careful review of the current situation with COVID-19 and following national and international guidance regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, we have determined that it will not be possible to hold DevOps World 2020 in person as planned for September 21-25, 2020 in Las Vegas.

Will there be a cost to attend the virtual event?

  • No, the virtual event is free. Some training sessions will have a cost, but that will be highlighted.

What kind of software will be required for DevOps World? Do I have to install anything?

No software download required as DevOps World 2020 will take place entirely online!  We recommend using Chrome for the best experience during DevOps World 2020.  Please note the platform will not work on Internet Explorer. Please note if you are using a VPN the times may not reflect your time zone.

Will the virtual event be just one day or more than one day?

This will be a global, multi-day virtual event that will take place September 22-24.

What can you tell us about the virtual platform?

  • The virtual platform  will allow us to create an interactive virtual  experience for attendees. Some of the features include: speaker and attendee Q&A, group chat rooms and 1:1s to network, sponsor showcase featuring demos, digital resources, and 1:1 conversations at their booths. 

What is a DevOps World Ambassador?

  • DevOps World Ambassadors help spread the word about DevOps World! Ambassadors will receive a DevOps World promotion kit including a unique tracking URL to spread the word about the conference with their colleagues and network. The top 20 ambassadors who drive the most registrations will receive a special event swag pack including a DevOps World ambassador hoodie. The top three to drive the most registrations will receive a VIP experience at a future DevOps World event.

What is the DevOps World Mentorship Program?

  • We are exploring ideas for a mentorship program as part of this year's virtual conference D&I initiative. Please indicate if this is something you would be interested in during registration and we will follow up with additional information as we approach the event.

Will attendees receive free certification?

  • Yes, if a registrant participates in the event. Participation in the DevOps World virtual event must be on September 22, 23, and/or 24. The DevOps World event organizers will pull the list of attendees that logged into the platform and participated in at least one session and visited at least one virtual sponsor booth. Vouchers will be distributed after the event and can be used for the following certifications: CloudBees 2 certifications, Certified Jenkins Engineer, or CloudBees Certified Jenkins Engineer.

DevOps World 2021 will take place in September, we can't wait to welcome you back to another inspiring event.
