Jenkins Scalability Summit Recap

Jenkins project just held a Jenkins User Conference in Palo Alto this past October, and attached to that event was the Jenkins Scalability Summit, an event hosted by Black Diamond Software and CloudBees. The Summit was a smaller gathering of serious large-scale Jenkins users.

In this event, existing users of Jenkins went through pain points experienced when operating and managing large instances. We then organized specific sub-topics we wanted to talk about, and went about identifying and designing how to tackle these problems.

We covered a number of different topics:

  • High availability
  • Master-to-master communication
  • Workflow
  • Slave connectivity diagnosis

If you are interested in providing your thoughts on these topics, please join this webinar. Kohsuke will present highlights of the event, and we’ll spend the rest of the time discussing your feedback.
