The Jenkins User Conference (JUC) Palo Alto is less than one month away - on Wednesday, October 23! We have all been hard at work. “We” meaning the organizing committee, our 13 sponsors and 16 expert speakers. We are all focused on ensuring a fun as well as educational day for the Jenkins community.
Check out the agenda and see what is planned! We have Jenkins experts from around the globe traveling to Palo Alto to share their Jenkins knowledge with JUC attendees. Speakers are coming from London, Israel, Estonia, Sweden, Taiwan, Boston, Seattle, Texas and, of course, the local Bay Area.
As usual, we create a one-of-a-kind t-shirt for each JUC. This year, in addition to our favorite Butler, we chose to feature a well-known landmark of Palo Alto: Stanford University. And we are going bright..hope you like (Jenkins) red!
We are always trying to think of unique and interesting Jenkins t-shirt designs. If you have a cool design in mind please send it to email@example.com. You may just see the Jenkins community wearing your proposed design at next year’s conference!
Also new this year: a great Jenkins bobblehead collectible that
Quantities of the bobblehead are limited, so be sure to pick one up at the CloudBees table. You might have to sing, dance, bark or just complete a survey in exchange for it, though. Most importantly, don’t forget to have Kohsuke sign it to make it official.
And, of course…what would JUC be without some good BEvERages! Gold sponsor, Black Diamond Software is donating a keg of beer for post-conference socializing. Tell us (below) what kind of beer you’d like to drink - you just might be doing so!
If you’ve read this far through the blog and have not yet registered to attend, here’s an extra perk for you. Use discount code BEE-JUC to get early bird pricing, that’s a $26 saving off the current price of $80. Register quickly, though - the discount expires October 4, 2013.
As JUC Conference Chair, I am very interested in ways we can improve JUC. Leave your comments below if you have suggestions on how to make the conference a Jenkins community conference.
On behalf of the JUC Organizing Committee, the speakers, sponsors and all of us here at CloudBees, we look forward to seeing you at JUC on October 23!
