CloudBees Strengthens Team with Addition of Mike Lambert, New VP of Sales for the Americas

New Head of Sales Brings Strategic Leadership, Experience to Grow North and South American Markets

WOBURN, MA. - May 29, 2013 - CloudBees, Inc. , the Java Platform as a Service (PaaS) innovation leader, today announced the hiring of Mike Lambert as vice president of sales, Americas. Lambert brings 20 years of experience in middleware services, sales and marketing to his role at CloudBees. Lambert will be responsible for driving sales of CloudBees cloud services and Jenkins Enterprise by CloudBees software in the North and South American markets.

Lambert's career has included responsibility for new product launch positioning, go-to-market strategy and strategic acquisitions. Prior to joining CloudBees, Lambert was managing director of portfolio solutions at Red Hat where he handled middleware, storage, virtualization and cloud sales for North America. Before joining Red Hat, he was the chief marketing officer and executive vice president of sales at Amentra, where he led the sales team, spearheaded sales efforts in new regions and maintained key industry partnerships. Amentra is a middleware consulting company acquired by Red Hat in 2008.
