At CloudBees, we believe the cloud is the new platform.
Our vision is to free developers from infrastructure maintenance duties so they can focus 100% on developing great applications. The CloudBees Platform as a Service (PaaS) enables that vision.
Sacha Labourey, former CTO of JBoss, is the founder of CloudBees. CloudBees is also home to Kohsuke Kawaguchi, the founder and lead developer of Jenkins CI. Jenkins CI is now the world's most popular continuous integration (CI) server, with over 40,000 active installations.
The CloudBees Platform features Jenkins in the cloud for its core development service, DEV@cloud. CloudBees also offers Jenkins Enterprise by CloudBees, a subscription-based offering built on top of Jenkins CI.
CloudBees was founded in early 2010, is incorporated in the United States and has working Bees in the USA, Europe and Australia. Most of the Bees share a strong pedigree in middleware and open source.
CloudBees raised $4 million USD from Matrix Partners in 2010. In 2011, we raised another $10.5 million USD from Lightspeed Venture Partners and Matrix Partners. Learn more about our investors.
